Junjou Karen

[…] May 7, 2007 @ 3:16AM After some time of not reading any yaoi, I decided to give this title a shot. I would have read other yaoi I have, but Junjou Karen, the title itself, got me interested. Shirasaka is a school teacher that everyone likes. The girls find him cute and very kind compared to their other teachers. One of his male students, have fallen in love with him due to that. His name’s Tamiya. Shirasaka tried to brush him off because he _is_ his teacher. It was kind of hard for him though because he has a liking for Tamiya too. He finds himself at peace when he looks at him. Somehow, it makes him forget the life he leads when he’s not at school. Iogi is Shirasaka’s upper classman when they were still students. Both are athletes. Due to a car accident, Iogi couldn’t run anymore. Shirasaka felt it was all his fault and that he ruined Iogi’s career and future. Forcing Iogi to make him pay or punish for what he thought is his fault, Iogi made Shirasaka pleasure him with his body. The drama isn’t that intense, but I felt touched with the story. Shirasaka still idolizes Iogi even with their kind of relationship going on for years. I was worried of what could possibly be the outcome because I’m all game for Tamiya and Shirasaka’s relationship. ^^ I was afraid Shirasaka will choose Iogi in the end. What I didn’t realize is that Shirasaka worried for Iogi because he still felt unforgiven even after many years of paying with his body. Worrying doesn’t likely mean he’s in love with him. All he needed is to be forgiven to give him a peace of mind. For Tamiya as well. […]
